Course Description: 

Process Control and Monitoring

Elements of automatic control systems: study of the pressure gauge MPX4115A, study of the ultrasonic sensor (determination of the liquid level by the use of ultrasonic sensor). One-dimensional automatic control systems: linear system of liquid level automatic control in the tank, relay system of liquid level automatic control in the tank. Two-dimensional automatic control systems: doubly connected linear system of liquid level automatic control in the tanks, doubly connected relay system of liquid level automatic control in the tanks. 

Micro Motors and Automatic Motor Contro

l 10 hands-on projects with DC motors: armature resistance, electromechanical conversion factor, mechanical characteristics of DC motors,operational characteristics of DC motors, operational characteristics of DC motors, dynamic characteristics of an open-loop DC motor control system and etc.

Inverted Pendulum

Balance a link on one end of a control system using a feedback control, nonlinear unstable system, an ideal experiment platform for teaching control theories and conducting various control experiments, the stability and the controllability of a controlsystem, can all be shown visually through the inverted pendulum system, research area for many researchers of modern control theories.
