Armenian National Engineering Laboratories (ANEL) announce a start of “3D Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Using CATIA” course from May 4.
Duration: 12 sessions, 2 sessions per week, 2 hours per session, total 6 weeks, 24 hours
Training days: Every Tuesday and Thursday at 15:00-17:00 pm
Required knowledge: None
Course fee: Free
Trainer: Arsak Karoglu, RMIT University, Melbourne
As 3D printing technology creates huge advantages for the manufacturing industry, the ability to use 3D modeling software is becoming more and more valuable. CATIA is a 3D modeling software that is widely used in the aerospace and automotive industry as well as many other design based professions.
CATIA enables the creation of 3D parts from 3D sketches, analyze composites and define mechanical assemblies. It provides tools to complete product definition, including functional tolerances as well as kinematics definition (http://www.3ds.com/products-services/catia).
While using CATIA students will be taught how to create 3D models, apply material to the models, test them under applied forces and also learn how to create professional working drawings out of their models. Students will also learn how to create models with moving parts.
This course is a perfect start for students with no 3D modeling experience and will build them a strong foundation which can be carried on to further more advanced 3D modeling studies.
To register for the course please fill the registration form below until April 30th. The number of participants is limited.
