Course Description:
RF Basics and Components
Basic RF concepts, analog and digital modulations: AM/FM/PM, FSK/PSK/QAM, RF amplifiers, RF transmitter concepts, RF receiver concepts, active and passive RF components.
Radar Signal Analysis
Real-Time processing of radar signals: digital down conversion, Gaussian filter, pulse compression, digital up conversion, analyses of Radar signal basics, processing in presence of active and passive noises, generation of 2 different objects, change of time delay between objects.
Antennas
Measuring the traditional patterns of antennas: study of rod, yagi, spiral, horn, parabolic, cophasal antennas.
