The local Final of Innovation Business Idea Competition took place on May 25 at National Polytechnic University of Armenia.
The competition was held within framework of ERASMUS+ “Enhancing innovation competences and entrepreneurial skill in engineering education (InnoCENS)” project.
The project aims to enhance engineering students' innovation competences and entrepreneurial skills in order to support socio-economic development and create new start-ups and new employment opportunities in Armenia, Belarus, Georgia and Kazakhstan.
11 selected teams from 44 applied presented their innovative ideas to the Jury. The Jury’s members were directors and representatives of investing venture and industry companies. The presented ideas were various and innovative. The young innovators presented they ideas the best way and gaining a high appreciation of the jury.
Business ideas evaluation took place in terms of novelty of the business model, commercial potential, social impact, quality of business plan and pitch performance.
SFI team with «InvistigatoRobat» idea became the winner and receive 2500 EUR in order to participate in the final competition among beneficiary universities of four countries: Armenia, Georgia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
The final competition will take place in Valencia, Spain, on September 13, 2019.
The winner of the final competition will be invited to INNOCENS final conference in Norsultan, Kazakhstan, in October 2019.
