The high performance demodulators were developed for cognitive radio communication system, which can perform high-speed PSK, OQPSK and QAM demodulation with symbol rate up to 40 MSPS, also automatic symbol rate detection was developed. The main components included in this system are automatic gain control, matched filtering, carrier recovery, timing recovery, symbol decision and lock detection.
